Finnish Touch Day Spa

Garp's Mercantile

Located in an old brick building in the heart of downtown, Garp's Mercantile is brimming with vintage, retro, and contemporary clothing and artifacts. Unlike staid department stores, there are no carefully arranged displays and merchandise isn't presented in any particular order of importance. You never know where you might encounter a turquoise blue purse or a fuzzy, cow print skirt. Plan on repeat visits if you're interested in seeing everything this store has to offer.

Park City Main Street

The creaky old houses are now gift boutiques and galleries. But Main Street still retains the look and feel of an old mining town-a tribute to the Park City's humble (pre-Redford) past.

If you head south towards the top of Main Street, you'll pass landmarks like Kimball Art Center, the Territorial Jail and Historic Egyptian Theater-home of the Sundance Film Festival. Aside from Sundance, Main Street's claim to fame is the array of funky art shops. Some you can skip, others are worth some serious browsing (Artworks Gallery is a particular favorite).

The Shane Company

If you've ever driven past the large Shane Co. building in Midvale, you might assume the store has the feel of a warehouse, crammed full of jewelry. Walk into the store and you'll find that impression is completely mistaken. Shane Co. has an intimate atmosphere, yet at the same time it is very well lit so you can see exactly what you are buying. The clerks are very knowledgeable and helpful. When they describe the quality of the products and the extensive service guarantees, you know you'll never buy jewelry in a shopping mall again.

"Salt City" Candles are the most highly-scented jar candles available. I used to get them in California, but hey, if you are ever in Utah... and want to take a special souvenir for someone, what better than one of this candles?!!!! This is the state where you'll for sure find them.
